One of the telltale signs of what is considered a date is that its only the two of you meeting. If its a social occasion, with a group of you getting together, chances are you may be in the friend zone. However, if the occasion involves only you and your crush – date away, the game is likely on!
What qualifies as a date?
Although 80% agree that a date is a planned one-on-one hangout, almost one-quarter (24%) also think it is a planned evening with a group of friends, and 22% agree that if they ask me out, its a date. The survey, conducted in September, was commissioned by dating websites ChristianMingle.com and JDate.com.
Is a meeting a date?
A “Meeting” is Action time, with major decision topics for one or all of the participants. However, a “Date” is Playtime, with NO major decision topics for any of the participants. A meeting is action. Its about doing, discussing or evaluating important decisions in your business or personal life.
