Back when I was happily married I often told people, The difference between your first love and your true love is that the first love you think you cannot live without, and your true love you realize that you can live with forever. I did love him, and part of me will always love him.

First love is when you wanna be with that person all the time, its when you put your feelings on the line for the sake of your loved one. Thats when you know you really loved someone, and thats when you can call it “First Love”!

Is it better to be the first love or last love?

When your first love doesnt work, its because its generally your first and not your last. Your last love is someone you should truly cherish. It was only when my second love came along that I started to realize how much better love is when you truly know yourself.

How do you know if its true love?

True love means showing up, and it means doing it all the time…not just when its convenient or when theres something to be gained. A person who truly loves you is one who shows up — undeniably — without fail. They dont make excuses and they dont shift the responsibility with they get it wrong.
