Is Oxford more prestigious than Cambridge?
But now a new YouGov Omnibus survey reveals that Oxford is far more likely to be seen as the UKs most prestigious university than Cambridge. Graduates are almost somewhat more likely to rate Cambridge as the better of the two universities – although Oxford still wins by 39% to 27% (and 10% for other institutions).
Is Oxford superior to Cambridge?
If you want to study somewhere where your tutors can pay more attention to you individually, then Oxford is a definite winner compared to Cambridge. In the QS World University Rankings® 2016-2017, Oxford was ranked sixth in the world for its faculty to student ratio.
Is Oxford an elite university?
Predictably and lamentably, Oxford University remains a hotbed of the elite. The survey showed clearly that paid education almost certainly places you in the elite. Bursaries and scholarships are still worrying close to being exceptions. Even if you didnt pay for school, you may well be part of the elite.
