Are Zippo and Case the same company?

The maker of Zippo lighters has acquired the company that makes Case knives. The Zippo Manufacturing Company and the W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company are both based in Bradford. The deal was completed on Friday and financial terms were not disclosed.

How long will a Zippo wick last?

Wicks should be replaced once or twice a year. Each wick is almost four (4) inches in length, so after 2-3 trimmings youll need to replace the wick. The wick should be changed if the lighter does not lighter properly or if the ignition process has to be repeated multiple times.
